Green Pyramid operates as a trading name under Michael’s sole-trader ABN, representing a collaborative effort among family members. Our core services focus on planning and design consultancy, providing tailored solutions to support developers, landowners, and builders. In response to changing market needs following the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our offerings to include building maintenance services and minor installations that do not require a building permit or a builder’s license. Additionally, we can oversee larger projects involving licensed builders and third-party contractors, ensuring smooth project management on behalf of property owners.
Recognising the diverse skills within our family, many of whom are late migrants with limited English proficiency, we also provide opportunities in gardening and cleaning services. These services are operated under our ABN and covered by liability insurance. We offer commercial cleaning solutions for clubs, offices, schools, and restaurants on a daily or weekly basis. Our team is also experienced in end-of-lease cleaning for rental properties, with a commitment to ensuring that our clients receive bond refunds.
Beyond commercial services, Green Pyramid is dedicated to community and environmental initiatives. A few years ago, we began a project aimed at reducing the urban heat island effect through community revegetation. With expertise in cultivating succulents and cacti, we have donated numerous plants to community halls and public gardens. Although an associated PhD research proposal exploring the use of big-leaf succulents and columnar cacti as urban bushfire prevention measures was not sponsored, we continue this work as a self-funded initiative. We offer cacti plants either free of charge or at minimal cost to cover materials, supporting local greening efforts.
